CAFR (COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT):
The CAFR is an analytical assessment of financial behavior completed after the end of each fiscal year.
The City Budget is an annual document that outlines revenues and expenditures for the fiscal year, in accordance with citizen needs and expectations.
GFOA (GOVERNMENT FINANCE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION):
The City of El Campo participates in the Government Finance Officers Association award program for both the Budget and the CAFR. The City has received both the Distinguished Budget Presentation and the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for 19 years in a row.
